About Netmusic Learning Paths
The learning paths are structured tutorials that can be followed step-by-step with guided examples and unit quizzes to assist the learning process. The learning paths can also be seen as chapters of a book which can be dipped into to revise or enhance knowledge of a unit or topic. Finally and most importantly Netmusic is a hyperlinked web of knowledge that can be searched and browsed in an asynchronous manner. For course facilitators there are a number of advanced features:
- Facilitators notes - implemented as threaded comments below the content of each unit, but only visible to authorised users. Course facilitators and teachers are encouraged to comment on units to colaborate to refine the course.
- Easy editing - each unit can be edited using basic HTML tags, all previous revisions are retained
- Rock solid technology - Netmusic is based on Drupal which is a secure, reliable, highly configurable and popular web application framework.
- Easy translation - Each unit has a related translated unit which exists in it's own book structure, translation revisions are retained for reference
- Printer-friendly version
